great if the screw top didn't always break

Purchased this tub twice now, and looking for a third. It just won't be this brand!

Always the screw cap (top) cracks and ends up leaking. Can't buy these caps separately and I haven't found a generic cap that has the same combination of size and thread pitch. Utterly frustrating and such a waste of money.
