Overall, the Scott Aspect 960 2022 is a reliable and affordable mountain bike suitable for entry-level and intermediate riders. It offers a comfortable ride, good performance, and the ability to handle a variety of terrains. This is made possible due to its strong and light aluminium frame. The entire bike weighs about 14 to 15kg, depending on the size of the frame. It is equipped with a SR Suntour XCE28 suspension fork with 100mm of travel, which absorb shocks and bumps, for a smoother ride on rough trails. You can easily switch between gears, due to the reliable Shimano drivetrain. It features a 16-speed-setup, which means you have a wide range of gears to tackle all types of terrains. The Aspect 960 comes with a Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, offering consistent stopping power as well as perform well in different weather conditions. The 29 inch tyres are to your advantage due to the enormous running smoothness, saving power on your long tours as well as uphill and downhill. Due to the large circumference of the tyres, obstacles are easier to overcome and a greater distance can be covered by fewer pedalling.
